Cream Cheese Frosting

1 stick regular (salted) butter
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 pound sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dash of salt to taste

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until smooth. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before using.
